All teaching position applicants must have the following:

  • relevant tertiary qualifications and experience relevant to the area of teaching;
  • current registration to teach in South Australia;
  • certified evidence of mandatory notification training; and
  • acceptable working VISA if an overseas applicant.

If the applicant is a new graduate, an academic transcript and practicum reports should be supplied.

Position One:

Head of Faculty - Art

Permanent (1.0FTE)
Commencing 2020 school year

Woodcroft College is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Head of Faculty - Art who will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Art Faculty in the Middle and Senior Schools.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience related to the teaching of Art.
  • Experience in leading teaching staff and providing a supportive professional teaching environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with staff, students and parents.

Position Two:

Teacher of Design and Technology/Home Economics

Commencing 2020 school year

Woodcroft College is seeking enthusiastic and dynamic teachers to teach Middle and Senior School classes in Food & Fabrics and Child Studies.

  • One position is a Permanent Part-time 0.5 FTE
  • One position is a 1.0 FTE – Parental Leave cover for up to 12 months.
  • We also encourage any suitably qualified and experienced teachers, interested in TRT work as it becomes available.

In these roles you will create and maintain an effective learning environment within the classroom which encourages each student to achieve his/her best and demonstrate effective teaching practice which fosters student engagement and facilitates learning.

Position Three: 

Middle School Teaching Assistant - Diverse Learning Needs

Permanent Part-Time (0.72 FTE)
Commencing 2020 school year

Woodcroft College is seeking a Middle School Teaching Assistant responsible for providing a range of services to support the learning and participation of students with diverse learning needs.  

The successful applicant will assist teaching staff by involving students actively in their own learning and being flexible and responsive to students’ learning needs

To be successful, in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience working directly with students across middle and senior school levels.
  • A proven ability to support students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
  • Appropriate qualifications and/or experience in supporting student learning.
